तेरे मिलने की वो शाम, जैसे किसी खजाने का खुलासा हो,

अब हर दिन तेरा इंतज़ार, एक नई उम्मीद की खोज हो।

Both Adrisha and Eshaanth were on a drill today, though their paths diverged. Eshaanth, always efficient, had finished his work ahead of schedule the previous day, allowing him the luxury of exploring Chennai's vibrant streets. The city's rich history and bustling markets captivated him as he strolled through Marina Beach, Fort St. George, and the serene Kapaleeshwarar Temple.

Adrisha, on the other hand, had meticulously planned her day. She had a list of places she had missed yesterday and was determined to see them all. Her first stop was the Government Museum, where she marveled at ancient artifacts and exquisite art pieces. The echo of history in the museum's corridors was almost tangible, filling her with a sense of awe and inspiration.

Next, she headed to the bustling streets of T Nagar, famous for its vibrant shopping scene. Adrisha navigated through the crowded markets, her eyes gleaming at the array of colorful saris, intricate jewelry, and handcrafted souvenirs. She knew she had to get something special for each of her friends. It was a tradition they cherished; a token of their adventures, a tangible piece of their love and friendship. The pressure was on, but Adrisha relished the challenge.

Her friends were her chosen family, each gift a small but significant token of their unbreakable bond. For Suhana, the one who influenced her love for bikes, Adrisha picked out a handcrafted leather bracelet, symbolizing strength and adventure. For another close friend, she chose a delicate silk scarf in vibrant hues, representing the warmth and support that friend had always offered her.

As the day wore on, Adrisha's bag grew heavier with gifts, each carefully selected with her friends' tastes and personalities in mind. Her feet ached, but her heart was light. She knew that these souvenirs would bring smiles and laughter, solidifying the love they shared.

Finally, Adrisha found herself at the quaint cafe by the beach, sipping on a cold coffee, the salty breeze a refreshing balm after a long day of exploration.

As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the city, Adrisha felt a profound sense of contentment. She had seen the beauty of Chennai, collected memories for herself and her friends, and was ready to face whatever lay ahead, knowing that she was surrounded by love and support.

Eshaanth was doing scuba diving today, an activity he eagerly looked forward to. The moment he slipped beneath the water's surface, a rush of adrenaline surged through him. The undercurrent of the water provided an exhilarating thrill, making his heart race and his senses heighten. This was what he lived for-the sheer excitement and the incomparable kick of pushing his limits.

As he descended deeper, the world above seemed to disappear, replaced by a serene and mesmerizing underwater landscape. The vibrant coral reefs teemed with life, a kaleidoscope of colors and shapes. Schools of fish darted around him, their scales glinting like precious gems in the filtered sunlight. Eshaanth was captivated by their fluid, synchronized movements, feeling a deep sense of awe and connection with this hidden world.

Eshaanth often sought out experiences that would spike his adrenaline, whether it was skydiving, bungee jumping, or exploring uncharted terrains. These activities made him feel alive in a way nothing else could. They provided a rush that no mundane daily routine could match. Today, scuba diving offered that same intoxicating thrill. The danger and unpredictability of the underwater environment only added to his excitement.

He swam alongside a majestic sea turtle, its slow, graceful movements a stark contrast to his own energetic strokes. Occasionally, he spotted a stingray gliding effortlessly along the ocean floor, or a curious octopus camouflaging itself among the rocks. Each encounter left him more entranced, reinforcing his love for these underwater adventures.

Time seemed to lose meaning as Eshaanth explored. Whether he was submerged for one hour or more, he remained engrossed in the marine life around him. The weightlessness he felt underwater gave him a sense of freedom and tranquility that was hard to find on land. The rhythmic sound of his own breathing through the regulator was oddly soothing, a constant reminder of his presence in this otherworldly realm.

Eventually, his oxygen tank began to run low, signaling the end of his dive. Reluctantly, Eshaanth began his ascent, taking care to do so slowly to avoid the bends. As he broke the surface, the thrill of his adventure was still coursing through his veins.

Climbing back onto the boat, Eshaanth felt a deep sense of satisfaction. The dive had been everything he hoped for and more. It had given him the kick he craved, the rush that made him feel truly alive. As the boat sped back to shore, he found himself already planning his next adventure, eager to once again push his limits and explore the unknown.

Adrisha, on the other hand, was enjoying her coffee mocha, which she ordered as she didn't like Americano or bitter coffees. She preferred her coffee with a hint of sweetness, savoring each sip as it warmed her from the inside. Alongside her coffee, she indulged in a slice of blueberry cheesecake, its rich and creamy texture perfectly complementing the sweetness of her drink. She sat by the window of a quaint beachside café, gazing out at the beautiful view of the sun setting over the ocean.

As she admired the picturesque scene, her attention was suddenly drawn to a commotion nearby. A group of boys were harassing a young girl, their lewd comments and aggressive behavior making the girl visibly uncomfortable. Adrisha felt a surge of anger rise within her. She could not stand by and watch such injustice unfold. Without a second thought, she stood up and marched towards the group.

With a swift, well-aimed punch, Adrisha knocked the first boy to the ground. Her years of martial arts training kicked in, and she expertly fended off the others as they tried to retaliate. Her movements were precise and powerful, a testament to her skill and discipline.

Adrisha's eyes were sharp, her body coiled with barely contained fury. The five boys, who moments earlier had been laughing and jeering, were now scattered on the ground, bruised and beaten. Adrisha's fists were clenched, her knuckles reddened from the fight.

She spotted the first boy who had been particularly crude, his smirk long gone. Without a word, she marched over to him, her expression a mask of determination. Grabbing a handful of his hair, she yanked him to his feet. He let out a yelp, stumbling as she dragged him forward. The other boys watched in stunned silence, their bravado evaporating.

Adrisha hauled the boy toward the group of girls they had been harassing. The girls, initially fearful, now looked on with a mix of relief and disbelief. Adrisha released her grip, letting the boy collapse at the feet of one of the girls, who instinctively stepped back.

"Apologize," Adrisha commanded, her voice as cold and unyielding as steel. When the boy hesitated, clutching his aching head, Adrisha's expression hardened. With a swift, punishing kick to his groin, she doubled him over. He groaned in agony, clutching himself as he fell to his knees.

"Sorry," he muttered weakly, barely audible.

"Louder!" Adrisha barked, her voice ringing out in the stillness. She delivered another sharp kick to his side, making him gasp in pain.

"S-sorry!" he shouted, louder this time, his voice strained with pain and fear. The other boys flinched, realizing the gravity of their situation.

Adrisha's eyes swept over the group, a silent warning in her gaze. She was in control, and they knew it. However, in her focused rage, she didn't notice one of the other boys, who had slipped away during the commotion. He was now frantically dialing on his phone, calling for backup.

While Adrisha's attention was consumed by the immediate confrontation, this boy, hidden behind a corner, whispered urgently into his phone. The adrenaline and fear in his voice carried through the receiver as he described the scene. His backup, friends who were likely just as reckless as these boys, promised to arrive soon.

Oblivious to the brewing danger, Adrisha remained steadfast, her anger simmering just below the surface. She turned back to the others, her gaze still fierce. She was unaware that the situation was far from over and that more trouble was headed her. She saw a group of his friends approaching from a distance, brandishing weapons.

Adrisha scoffed at their cowardice. "Really? They need weapons to fight a single girl?" she thought. Realizing the odds were against her, she grabbed the young girl's hand and started running. They sprinted through the crowded streets, weaving through the throngs of people. The sound of their pursuers grew louder, but Adrisha was determined to keep the girl safe.

As they ran, they came closer to the beach where Eshaanth was leisurely strolling after his exhilarating scuba diving experience. He had changed into fresh clothes and was feeling utterly satisfied with his adventure. Lost in his thoughts, he didn't see Adrisha and the girl until they collided with him. Adrisha fell on top of Eshaanth, knocking the wind out of both of them.

For a moment, everything seemed to freeze. The girl looked at Adrisha with a confused expression, while Adrisha quickly signaled her to keep running. The girl nodded and dashed away, disappearing into the crowd. Adrisha's focus was entirely on the boys chasing them, not realizing who she had bumped into.

Eshaanth, however, recognized her immediately. This was the third time she had collided with him, and each time left him more bewildered and frustrated. His initial reaction was to hold her down, demanding to know if she was doing this on purpose.

"What's the big idea? Why do you keep running into me?" Eshaanth growled, his grip tightening on her wrist.

Adrisha's eyes darted from Eshaanth to the approaching boys. "Let go, I don't have time for this!" she snapped, trying to pull free.

"Not until you explain yourself," he insisted, his irritation evident.

Adrisha glared at him. "If you must know, those guys are chasing us. Now let me go before we both get into more trouble!"

Eshaanth glanced up and saw the boys, their menacing approach confirming Adrisha's story. Realizing the urgency of the situation, he released her.

"Catch them!" one of the boys yelled.

Eshaanth quickly assessed the situation. They thought she was with him. He could easily tell them he wasn't with this foolish girl and be on his way. But he couldn't leave her alone in this predicament. He had a sister himself, and the thought of what might happen if those boys caught her sent a chill down his spine. It wasn't good. Not good at all. So, he made a decision.

He grabbed her hand firmly, feeling the slight tremor of her fear. For a moment, he glanced at her wide, panic-filled eyes. "Run!" he yelled.

They dashed forward, feet pounding against the pavement. The sounds of their pursuers' shouts and footsteps echoed behind them. Eshaanth tightened his grip on her hand, pulling her along as they weaved through the maze of alleyways and side streets.

His mind raced as fast as his feet. He knew these streets well, having navigated them countless times. Left here, right there—he plotted their escape route on the fly, all while stealing glances over his shoulder to gauge the distance between them and their pursuers.

He could easily fight with them; after all, he was a trained underground boxer. His experience in the ring had honed his reflexes and strength, making him more than capable of taking down a group of unarmed assailants. However, these boys had weapons in hand, and that gave them a distinct and dangerous advantage. Eshaanth knew that engaging in a physical confrontation under these circumstances was not a wise move. It was one thing to handle a fistfight, but another entirely to go up against armed opponents.

Together, they kept running, trying to lose the boys in the maze of alleyways and streets. With his powerful physique and endurance, Eshaanth was able to keep up without much trouble but Adrishsa on the other hand was struggling. As they ran, a part of him couldn't help but admire her bravery.

Finally, they managed to find a secluded spot to hide, catching their breath. Eshaanth let go of her hand, and Adrisha peeked around the corner to ensure they were no longer being followed. She turned to Eshaanth, a mixture of gratitude and exasperation on her face.

"Thank you for helping," she said, her voice still laced with irritation.

"Agar khud ka khyal nahi rakh sakti to ghar me raho. Bahar nikal kar logon ki zindagi hard mat banao," Eshaanth said with a blank face, totally disregarding her gratitude.

(If you cannot care for yourself, stay at home. Do not come out and complicate the lives of others.)

"Excuse me?" Adrisha said in disbelief, but her disbelief was met with his indifferent stare, which only fueled her anger.

"Dekhiye, aap mujhse bade hain iska matlab yeh nahi ke kuch bhi bol den. Badtameezi karna mujhe bhi aati hai," Adrisha said angrily, to which Eshaanth smirked, raking his hand through his hair, making it messy, which did something to her heart for a moment. She instantly scolded herself internally for thinking that he looked hot. He kept his hand in his trousers pocket, which were Fila, and looked at her in the eyes with a devilish smirk.

(Just because you are older than me does not give you the right to say anything. Even I know how to be disrespectful.)

"Drop the good girl act. Aur tumhari badtameezi to main cafe mein dekh chuka hoon, mujhe achhe se pata hai tum kitni badtameez ho." Eshaanth said before he started sauntering off, and she kept looking at him in extreme rage.

(Drop the good girl act. Furthermore, I witnessed your rudeness in the cafe and am well aware of how much of an ungrateful brat you are.)

"Badtameez honge aap, langur kahin ke," she yelled, not able to hold her anger.

(The ungrateful brat will be you, langur.)

Eshaanth stopped, hearing what this ill-mannered girl said. He looked dangerous as he took a step toward her. His grey eyes darkened with rage.

"What did you say?" he asked very calmly, giving her a chance to change her statement. Adrisha, knowing that she offended him, smirked. The previous night, he had sauntered off like he didn't know her, which had triggered her.

"Maine bola ki badtameez honge aap, ganji aankhon wale King Kong," she said, making him grit his teeth and clench his jaw, which scared Adrisha, but she was determined to have the last word today.

(I said the ungrateful brat would be you, bald-eyed King Kong.)

"Apologize," he said darkly.

"Mafi maange meri jutti," Adrisha said very calmly, with a nerve-ticking smile.

(My shoes will apologize.)

Eshaanth's eyes narrowed at her defiance, his patience wearing thin. Adrisha could see the tension in his jaw, his knuckles turning white as he clenched his fists. She stood her ground, refusing to be intimidated by him, even though her heart was pounding in her chest.

"You have no idea who you're dealing with," Eshaanth said, his voice low and dangerous, each word dripping with menace.

Adrisha lifted her chin, meeting his intense gaze with one of her own. "Oh, I think I do. A spoiled, arrogant brat who thinks he can bully everyone into submission. Well, I'm not everyone."

Eshaanth took another step forward, his presence looming over her. Despite the fear bubbling in her stomach, Adrisha refused to back down. "You think you're brave, don't you?" he said, his voice almost a whisper, yet every word hit her like a blow.

She held her breath, refusing to let him see her fear. "I know I am," she replied, her voice steady.

Eshaanth's smirk returned, but it was colder this time, more calculating. "Bravery and stupidity often go hand in hand."

"Maybe," Adrisha shot back, "but at least I don't hide behind my anger and insults like a coward."

His eyes flashed with something unreadable, a mix of anger and perhaps a hint of admiration. Before he could respond, she continued, "If you have a problem with me, say it to my face without the insults. Be a man, not a bully."

Eshaanth looked taken aback for a moment, his expression softening just a fraction. But then the hardness returned, and he leaned in close, his breath hot against her ear.

Eshaanth's voice cut through the tense silence, each word dripping with a cold, menacing promise. "Wish to God that you don't meet me again, girl. Or if you do, next time, I'll make sure you regret everything you said to me. And trust me, Eshaanth Raichand never lies. Remember the name—Eshaanth Raichand. The Eshaanth Raichand."

His declaration hung in the air like a dark cloud. Adrisha stood firm, her anger still blazing as she met his gaze. "Honge aap Eshaanth Raichand apne ghar me, mai bhi Adrisha Mishra hoon. Darti to mai kisi ke baap se bhi nahi," she shot back, her voice steady and resolute.

(You may be Eshaanth Raichand in your home, but I am also Adrisha Mishra. I am not afraid of anyone.)

Eshaanth's smirk widened, his eyes glinting with a dangerous mixture of amusement and scorn. He turned on his heel with deliberate slowness, the confidence in his stride a stark contrast to Adrisha's fiery defiance. As he walked away, the echo of his footsteps seemed to reverberate through the narrow alley, each step a reminder of his threat.

Adrisha's eyes followed him, her heart pounding with a mix of adrenaline and defiance. The alley, once a backdrop to their heated confrontation, now felt oppressive, closing in around her. Eshaanth's departing figure was a looming shadow against the flickering street lights, his words a chilling promise of future retribution.

She stood alone in the dimly lit alley, the weight of the encounter settling heavily on her shoulders. The confrontation had left her shaken but resolute. Despite the fear that gnawed at her, she refused to let it show. Eshaanth Raichand had made his threat, but Adrisha was equally determined not to be intimidated.

As Eshaanth's figure disappeared into the distance, Adrisha took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing heart.

In the quiet aftermath, the alley felt both isolating and empowering. Adrisha was alone, but she was also more resolute than ever. Eshaanth's words echoed in her mind, a reminder of the high stakes and the unresolved tension between them.

**************************************

Eshaanth sat in the jacuzzi of his hotel room, stark naked, enjoying a glass of Château Margaux 2015 while looking at the moon. The room had the best view; after all, he always got the best.

But he was lost, lost in thoughts of a certain someone who had impacted his mind without his knowledge. He swirled the wine in his left hand, his eyes drifting to his right hand, the one that had held hers today. Her hand had fit in his like a puzzle piece, perfect and unexpected. Her beauty was undeniable—her hazel eyes were enchanting, her skin luminous under the soft lights—but it was her foul mouth, constantly moving, that overshadowed it all. Today, she had amused and infuriated him in equal measure.

"Adrisha Mishra, you better not meet me again," he whispered before drinking his wine in one go. The bitterness of his words mixed with the rich, complex flavors of the Château Margaux, leaving an odd taste in his mouth.

In the next room, Adrisha was also facing the same whirlwind of emotions. She stood by the window, the night breeze caressing her face, bringing a slight chill that did nothing to cool the heat of her thoughts. Eshaanth Raichand-his name alone was enough to stir a mix of emotions within her. She recalled the firm grip of his hand, the way his touch had sent shivers down her spine. His eyes, dark and intense, had held a world of secrets, challenging her, daring her to decipher them.

Yet, his arrogance grated on her nerves. He was infuriatingly self-assured, always expecting the world to bend to his will. And yet, there was something about him that drew her in, something she couldn't quite put her finger on.

"Why do you affect me so much?" she muttered to herself, her voice barely audible over the gentle hum of the city below. She took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing heart, but the memory of his touch, his voice, lingered, refusing to let go.

Both of them, tied in a web of unnamed emotions, felt the weight of their encounter. It was too deep to be simply named hate, too complex to be understood in a single night. As the moonlight bathed their rooms, they lay awake, caught in the intricate dance of their burgeoning feelings, not knowing that this was just the beginning of something neither of them was ready to face.
